Regulatory Authorities
Health professional regulatory authorities are responsible for serving and protecting the public's interest by ensuring members of their profession are qualified and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, legislation and codes of ethics. A health care provider's membership or "registration" to their respective health professional regulatory authority is a requirement for practice for all regulated health professions.
