The Canadian Medical Association and the Ontario Medical Association are proud to present the 5th Canadian Conference on Physician Health scheduled for September 7th-9th, 2017 at the Westin Ottawa Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario.

Join colleagues from across the country to share knowledge, insights and experience related to this year’s theme: Burning Brightly, Not Out: Engaging and energizing physicians.

The conference will showcase research and initiatives for improving physician health and wellness. It will promote an overall healthier culture in medicine for physicians by offering practical evidence-based skills and strategies for attendees to take back to their practice.

This year’s conference will include both invited speakers as well as an open call for abstracts.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract submission deadline extended until April 15, 2017.

Submission Categories:

1. Research (oral or poster)
The abstract should clearly outline the purpose, methods, results, conclusions, learning objectives and alignment with the conference theme.
2. Initiative (oral or poster)
Showcase successful local initiatives for improving physician health and wellness. We are also interested in lessons learned and practical implications from strategies that were not successful. Not scientific in nature.
