Description:

Interprofessional collaboration is an increasingly significant component of healthcare delivery improvement, but there are lingering questions regarding best practices such as: "How can managers, healthcare providers, and patients promote interprofessional collaboration?" and "How do we develop and sustain high performing interprofessional teams?"

This Bear Pit brings together leaders from distinct practice settings to discuss the challenges they have faced at different levels of the healthcare system, and the strategies they have implemented to successful promote interprofessional care. This talk will cover recent innovations and approaches, the drive towards patient engagement and empowerment, and the implications on health care quality.

In the spirit of the theme, attendees from all healthcare backgrounds have been invited. This will be a great opportunity to meet and visit with peers.

Light refreshments will be provided.
