We are pleased to accept abstract submissions covering any of the following health workforce topics:

• Health Workforce Planning, Modelling and Forecasting
• Scopes of Practice/Task Shifting/Skill Mix/Models of Care/Inter & Intra-professionalism
• Mobility/Migration/Internationally Educated Health Workers
• Rural/Remote Health Workforce Challenges and Opportunities
• Indigenous Health Workforce Challenges and Opportunities
• Mental Health, Psychological Safety, Work/Life Balance and Well-Being of Health Workers
• Linguistic and Cultural Competencies of the Health Workforce
• Health Workforce Leadership
• Patient’s/Family Perspectives on the Health Workforce
• Health Worker Training/Preparation/Credentials, Health Worker Regulation
• Gender, Equity, Diversity
• Social Accountability 

REQUIREMENTS

All Submissions must include:

• Contact person’s given name, surname, affiliation and email address.
• Principal/Presenting author(s) information including given name, surname and affiliation
• Topic covering one or more the conference subthemes (see above)
• Presentation type: Workshop, Traditional Oral, Rapid Fire/Pecha Kucha, Roundtable, Poster
• Target audience: researchers, policy-decision-makers , health professionals, health professional educators, student, patient and community representatives.
• All pertinent details: Title, Background, Objectives, Methodology, Findings, Conclusion
• Three Take Home/ Health Policy Relevancy Messages
• Gender, equity and diversity statement

PROCEDURE  

1. Complete the pdf abstract submission form. (see link below)

For Example: CHWC 2018 Abstract: Linguistic and Cultural Competency.

3. If you have not received a confirmation of receipt after 24 hours, please call 613 562-5800 ext 8451.

4. All abstracts must be submitted by April 6 2018 at 5 pm (EST).

5. Notice of Decision will be made the week of May 1-7 2018
